Our First Card Sketch!

Hey everyone.  April here to share a card sketch with you featuring a really cool technique for making flowers.  Here is my card sketch:

And here is my finished card:

To make the rolled flowers I used a strip of fabric that I had leftover from a t-shirt I hemmed and a Gluber, although any adhesive would work.  I tied one end of the fabric into a knot and pressed it down into the glue and then working in a circle I kept twisting my fabric and laying it down on the glue in a tight spiral until I had the desired size I wanted. I cut off the excess fabric and voila, a cute little fabric flower.

This is my favorite time of year to be scrapbooking. Something about the Fall weather that always gets my creative juices flowing! Not to mention, the great crop at GHL in a few weeks. One of my favorite weekends of the year!

Welcome back scrappy friends! It's Kelsey here to share some color inspiration! I had fun scanning through Pinterest and found great color combination! This week I chose 'Cinderella Castle' colors!

So I focused on the pretty blues an yellows and also went with the Princess theme!

Inspiration for you!

What a beautiful Sunday this day turned out to be! As the fall approaches and the kidlets all go back to school, I am inspired by my other favorite pastime, reading. I can find myself with my nose in a good book any day.

SEEDS Colour Inspiration!

New Brunswick Day Sketch!

hi All! We are a little late this week. This is only because there is so many exciting things going on in my home life. We are in midst of packing up for my big trip to England this week!! I was hoping to get into the scrappy spirit this week, but it just didn't happen. Kelsey, thankfully, was right on the ball!

Here we go!
