Good day folks! How are we all hanging in there? Are you having summer weather? We certainly are NOT here in New Brunswick.  Lets all get out our best summer colored paper and get scrapping to bring on the sun!

British Invasion!

Happy Sunday all! With every Sunday comes a great inspiration to start off your scrappy week. Since we are celebrating Victoria Day this weekend here in Canada, why not have a little British invasion inspiration??

We can  find scrappy inspiration in non-scrappy things. On this blog, once a month, we will show you how to do just that! So here we go... without any more delay, here is this month's non scrappy inspiration

Kelsey took the photo and used it's composition as a map to how to piece together her project just like a sketch! 

For me, the first thing that stood out of the picture was the bright red telephone booth. I knew I wanted to incorporate a strong red. I also kept the vertical theme like Kelsey. For brownie points, I used a photo of my BFF who lives in England!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Hello out there! How are we all doing in our corners of the world? Here in Fredericton, it's an absolutely beautiful morning with the sun shinning and the birds chirping. What a perfect way to spend Mother's Day with the ones you love!

Here for you today, is our 2nd Sketchy Sunday. Honeycombs are all the rage right now so lets bring 'em in!

Kels - Great way to make the honeycombs if you don't have a punch or die... how about a stamp or mask??

Me - I used a spellbinders nesting die. Comes in 6 different sizes so it's an awesome value compared to a punch. Lynn ordered me this set on special order. DID YOU KNOW SHE DOES THINGS LIKE THAT?? Anything you can dream... she can help!

Scrappy Inspiration!

Another great feature that you will see here on APOS are these great  colour boards by SEEDS. I found these when I was looking for colour schemes for my crocheted blankets. They are absolutely beautiful and come in the widest variety of palettes.

Here is a card from Leda! She used a Kraftin Kimmie stamp that she got at APOS and coloured it in to match our inspiration this week. AWESOME!

Welcome!

Hi Everyone!

 We, at APOS, are moving to the WEB and taking on the mission of inspiring all our scrappy peeps out there. I have heard so many people say that they get their best work done at our local crops because they can see everything that others are working on and they draw so much inspiration from that. Our goal here to is bring that inspiration that we get from group environments right into your HOME!

We have some exciting things coming up for you in the coming months. Sketches, Color Boards, Challenges, Prizes, and Tons more!

Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. If anyone would like to help out or anyone has some great ideas out there, feel free to bring them up!
